March 12, 2010:
Program: eBAM, what is it, where did it come from and what is in it for me.
The processes around bank account management (i.e. opening, maintaining, and closing accounts) and signer and mandate changes have been very manual and paper-based, leading to high costs and inefficiencies for both companies and their banks. In recent years, a group of industry players has came together to develop standards that can be used to address this last bastion of paper-based inefficiency in treasury management. With the much anticipated dawn of eBAM (electronic bank account management), this session is designed to give insights into how the standards were developed, how they are implemented and what are the benefits and challenges of adoption.
Glen Solimine | Founder and CEO - Speranza Systems Glen Solimine is the CEO of Speranza Systems, the provider of ground breaking eBAM systems for bank account, bank mandate, signer, and bank relationship management systems. Glen has more than 25 years experience in the treasury industry as both a practitioner and a vendor. Prior to joining Speranza, Glen served as Vice President of North American Client operations for XRT and held business development positions with KPMGIS (Quantum) and ICMA International. |
