August 13, 2010:
Program: Managing Foreign Exchange Risk Through Volatile Times

Whether your volume of foreign currency transactions are large or small, the time it takes to manage these transactions and the ever-changing regulations can be significant. Global currencies continually move against each other, so when exporting and importing goods funded by foreign exchange transactions, you may experience profitability volatility.

With recent events affecting currency markets, this month's luncheon will focus on:

1) An update for the Euro and Chinese Yuan

2) A review of FX hedging strategies, and

3) A review of hedge accounting and its implications
