Membership Information

MEMBERSHIP
Two types of membership are provided by the SCAFP:
- Practitioner: A member with responsibility for treasury management and/or related functions within an entity. This member is a "user" of treasury
- Non-Practitioners: A member who provides and/or sells treasury management services including, but not limited to, banking, consulting, advising, and investing.
Any application for membership must be made in writing and may be submitted to the Board of Directors (officers) at any time. The Board or committee
authorized by the Board will review each application and, if appropriate, certify that the applicant meets the qualifications for membership in accordance with the types of
membership listed above. Membership shall commence upon such certification and upon payment of any required dues.

The following application forms are downloadable as MS Word documents. Please download the appropriate form, complete it, and
mail it to the Membership Chair.
DUES
The annual membership dues of the SCAFP are $250.00
Membership dues are billed annually for the fiscal year January 1 through December 31. New members joining the
SCAFP during the second, third and fourth quarters will pay prorated dues, as follows:
January - June: Full price
July - December: $125.00
MEETINGS
Members are encouraged to attend the luncheon meetings (held every month except for April, July & September. The meetings are generally held on
the second Friday of the month at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, but there are exceptions, so please check the schedule carefully.) or to send one substitute if the named member is
unable to attend. Members are permitted to bring guests (for an added charge) to each meeting.
Once a year, the SCAFP sponsors the EXPO L.A.. The EXPO offers an extensive slate of educational and networking opportunities. Several sessions
are offered in the two day event. The sessions cover a broad scope of treasury issues affording participants the opportunity to gain insight from their
professional peers on how different businesses approach treasury issues. Certified Cash Managers can earn up to twelve CTP renewal credits for
their participation in the EXPO.
CTP CERTIFICATION
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is an examination-based certification and is widely regarded by treasury managers as one of the leading credentials in
the field, reflecting an extremely high standard of professionalism. The CTP certification is offered by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
